CurrentEconomic Legal Affairs Division /Climate Diplomacy Division/International Legal Affairs Division- Analyse complex situations, formulate strategies, participate in deliberations and vote on resolutions regarding investor-State disputes as a member of an inter-governmental agency dispute response team- Conduct comprehensive research on alternative dispute resolution, and prepare and represent national positions in policy discussions on reforming investor-State dispute settlement at UN Commission on International Trade Law -Draft and negotiate social security agreements between Korea and other nations- Engaged with representatives from other countries to advocate for Korea’s interests regarding mitigation and adaptation and prepared and represented national positions on climate finance and issues related to damage and loss at COP 26 -Provided a strategic guidance on policies and actions related to a wide range of Antarctic issues, including area protection and construction, and served as an advisor on matters related to tourism, fishing and scientific research in Antarctica to ensure Korea’s compliance with regulations
