Negotiation, legal analysis and multilateral engagement are the three main areas of work I have been indulging myself for the past decade. I am well-versed in treaty languages and bilateral treaty negotiations on, but not limited to, social security and maritime shipping. I provided legal advice/analysis to internal clients in the Foreign Ministry in issues related to the law of treaties and public international law. Through years of experience, I actively participated in multilateral diplomatic conferences such as Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting, Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), COP 26 and most recently in United Nations Commission on International Trade Law(UNCITRAL) Working Group III on investor-State dispute settlement Reform. During my internship in the Office of Legal Affairs in the United Nations, I reconstructed Terms of Reference for funds administered by the team and helped facilitate the UN meetings.Additionally, I have experience in providing finance and HR services as well as event hosting. As a chief of administration in the Korean Embassy in the Netherlands, I oversaw Finance and HR services and successfully hosted events with average 300 guests, securing funding through sponsorship.
