The goal of Project Love & Safety is to support, strengthen, and expand HIV/HCV prevention and harm reduction services, and public health advocacy work in Lawrence and Lowell, two of the poorest cities in Massachusetts, and hotspots for HIV and HCV transmission and mortality. I am involved in both program implementation and evaluation activities. On field, I help the program leaders in the actual needle exchange, data collection, promoting healthy behavior among people who inject drugs, and facilitating referral to services. Apart from that, I analyze the data, develop periodic reports/presentations and assist in developing the grant proposal for seeking long-term sustainability of the program.
