During my time at USAA I provided post analysis on the effectiveness of fixing a software bug that was preventing accurate logging of member activity data. During this project, I queried data using SQL and performed analysis (such as ARIMA time-series). The data was modeled in SAS. My second project was to predict monthly completed credit card applications given data collected through clicks. Utilizing python's “Pandas” library, ggplot2, and Jupyter Notebook, the model I created explained close to 98% of the variability in the application data. I also implemented inferential methods to determine what predictors were most influential. The final project was a team collaboration to coordinate a live streaming data solution for USAA’s member activity across channels.​

Over the summer I had the opportunity to work at HQ on the National Category Management Team for the Annie's Natural and Organic brand. My daily task consisted of updating, creating, and analyzing content for the Natural/Organic Category 101’s that the sales teams use to acquire or update their understanding of the category and brand performance. I also created refreshable pulls on Natural/Organic categories to assist the Whole Foods Sales and Buying team understand the functionalities of Nielsen and the performance of the categories. With the supervision of Category Manager Jannette Wagner, my main project was the creation of a growth/sales story for the “Epic" brand to empower sales teams and drive distribution. During my time there I leveraged data from Nielsen Nitro, Nielsen AOD, and 8451 databases.
