Product development for recovery boilers, especially from the point of water-steam network simulation. My work is usually very independent, and i have freedom to decide my approach on how to solve problems. As an engineer of a very specific topics I like to discuss with my colleagues to improve the quality of our work as well as solve complex problems. I use a lot of programming to do my daily work, mainly python and excel. For the water-steam simulations I use a dynamic 1-D simulation program Apros. Many of my tasks involve distilling and processing data to coherent presentations and reports.

I worked as an assistant Hornet-mechanic in the military. The job included doing maintenance like changing oils, hydraulic fluids, refueling. We also had to check the body for possible damages. Usually we would also install flares and chaffs. I worked with the staff and 17 other assistant mechanics. To be able to do the job, I had to familiarize myself with many different kinds of tools. Most of them were torque related tools. I think it was very fascinating to get to work with big and complex machines such as Hornets.

I delivered Helsingin sanomat and Etelä-Saimaa papers. The job was done at night time from 2 am. to 6 am. I was paid by the amount of papers I distributed. I think I did a good job at delivering papers. The job was easy and working late hours didn't bother me.
