I am a biomedical engineering graduate student at Stony Brook University. My long-term goals are to make healthcare more accessible by developing more affordable medical devices, and to remain in academia to mentor students from underrepresented backgrounds in attempt to make STEM more diverse.Currently, I’m studying under Dr. Paul Vaska to investigate cognitive impairment and PTSD in World Trade Center responders using PET/MR imaging.
