BusinessLine was established to serve the banking requirements of SMEs in the Philippines. Our strategy was community-based lending where we were able to leverage on the branch network and the lending appetite of Union Bank.This group consisted of several teams including product, sales and operations. Our process was program-based lending which introduced on-boarding efficiency and a scalable knowledge transfer to the nationwide distribution of Union Bank branches.

Handled the banking needs of large local conglomerates with business interests in Telco, Real Estate, Power Generation, Fuel Refinery, and others.During this time I also handled distressed companies during the Asian Financial Crisis where different solutions were required for the varied circumstances involved.
