My background is in engineering and product management focusing on enterprise-wide solutions. I co-founded Switchboard to change how enterprises use data.I joined Google in 2008 to help build internet-scale data automation and management tools. In 2010 I was asked to help jump start Google Cloud Platform. I led the launch of Google BigQuery (Google’s cloud data warehouse) and Google Prediction API in 2011. I witnessed firsthand the hunger that large enterprises have for insights from their rapidly growing datasets, as well as the pain experienced trying to leverage the cloud to exploit that data.I left Google when we realized that the amount of data enterprises are grappling with was rapidly outstripping their ability to harness it. From this, Switchboard was born. My mission with Switchboard is to allow business teams to leverage this data so that it is actionable and leads to greater profitability for a wide variety of firms and institutions.
