I’m currently working at VTT - Technical Research Center of Finland as a R&D team lead, principal scientist and a project manager. I have 20 years of work experience in the field of telecommunication and project management. I've experienced in leading R&D projects and tasks in several international and national projects as well in several VTT’s customer projects. I’m currently leading also projects developing VTT 5G & beyond Testnework.I received the degree of Ph.D. in telecommunication from University of Jyväskylä, Finland in 2011. The degree of M.Sc. (major subject: telecommunication, minor subjects: management and organizations, mathematics) I received 2003 also from University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I have also couple of project management certificates: (IPMA Level C certified Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master.I have extensive experience in different fields of advanced communications networks including, for example, 5G, 6G, network infrastructures, network management and Internet of Things solutions. He has also a strong experience of leading prototyping and field trial activities. He has experience in project management and leading subproject and tasks in several international collaborated projects; in several national and government funded projects His scientific activities include more than 40 published scientific articles and presentations, including conference papers, book chapters and journal papers related to his research and development work. He is also supervising the PhD and diploma thesis workers at VTT.
