Founder/President
CurrentIndustrial Succession Group offers owners of sub-$5m EBITDA industrials businesses a succession plan that doesn't include selling their business to a competitor or private equity investor. Our business plan doesn’t focus on “optimizing” through the changes that some buyers usually make (i.e. moving facilities, laying off staff.) We run the business as it is and instead take a more "offensive" approach by improving sales/marketing and expanding work shifts/capacity. This approach allows us to buy bigger businesses, hold on to businesses for as long as we'd like, and help owners pass their legacies along to someone who will treat their legacies right. Investment partners (LPs) include Pursuant Capital, Yorkshire Equity and more. Our primary focus is on automotive, industrial service and infrastructure investments (old age economy businesses) as well as new age industrials (renewables, electric vehicles.)Current Holdings:American Sheet Metal (Infrastructure Manufacturing in Southern California)

Bringing unique cars to the San Francisco Market! As a passion project, I rented out a fleet of 3 unique vehicles (2 electric.) I was successfully able to use unique cars to carve out a niche in the Turo market.I learned a lot about customer service, how to use $0 cash down to obtain $160,000 worth of cars, talk to financers and how to manage/operate rental equipment.I maintained a 4.9 rating over 112 trips. As of April 2020, I am selling the fleet to focus on my next project!
Sales/Business Development/Strategy
ampUp (YC W19) is enabling smart electric vehicle charging.ampUp's IOT platform integrates with most brands of chargers to provide a suite of management tools. The solution is popular with campuses and fleets where site hosts are looking to modernize existing infrastructure and deploy better management tools on future chargers. The software can also be integrated into home chargers to allow site hosts to share their chargers with other electric vehicle drivers. As an early team member, I wore many hats. I primarily focused on B2C/B2B sales, business development, and strategic partnerships/investments.
Business Development/Sales/Operations
Xos (Ticker Symbol "XOS") is a manufacturer of battery-electric Class 6-8 trucks. As the first sales hire, I focused on figuring out how to make "quick sales" and went after our ideal customer group of distribution companies. Armed with CRM and lead generation softwares, I identified, prospected, and qualified customers and did whatever was necessary to get a conversation with the decision-makers to close sales.I also added my business and engineering savvy wherever I saw fit and was able to open up new market opportunities to apply our technology to various equipment markets (i.e sweepers,) identify new distribution partnerships, find ways to cut down on component costs and obtain certifications, warranties, insurance for our trucks.I learned a lot here about execution, doing what it takes to get the deal done and about servicing a variety of customers. I brought in 7 figures in deals and a wide variety of fleet customers.
Founder/Head Tutor
Elevate IQ is a full-service tutoring firm based in the NYC area. Due to the growing population of high-end clientele and families in downtown Brooklyn, I carved out a niche by focusing on providing high quality, in-person classes to their children. My primary focus was running the business and selling classes while my tutors provided the services. I learned a lot over selling thousands of hours of tutoring and running the business.
Traveler
I moved to California to seek a manufacturing company to work at.My journey took me all over the state. I reached out to companies that I was interested in and they allowed me to tour their HQs. I got to see dozens of manufacturing operations... industries ranging from automotive to defense to rockets to turbines to energy storage. I learned what a good operation should look like and what industries I enjoyed. After saying no to 2 job offers, I found a great fit at, then, a 20 person startup called XOS trucks.
Pro Bono Consultant
NYOrtho is an established manufacturer of medical equipment. Over a Graduate Class project, my team and I convinced the owners to let us come in and optimize their organizational flow. Our team conducted an on-site transformation, using 5S and Six Sigma Principles, of the manufacturing facilities and improved the output and worksite effectiveness. Please refer to PowerPoint.
Intern To Founders
Vengo (Series B) is a manufacturer of mini on the wall vending machines that drives point of sale interactions for brands. After seeing the company on Shark Tank, I reached out to the CEO and he offered me a part-time internship. This was my first experience working for a startup that was already shipping product. I gained experience in designing and manufacturing beautiful vending machines and innovating in an established industry. I helped with the design of various custom requests from customers, collaborated with the business team to drive marketing efforts and did customer interviews. I learned a lot here from watching Brian and Steve (Founders) operate.
Intern To Cto
Duro is a manufacturer of battery-electric underwater vehicles. When I joined, Duro had just finished prototype 1 and was working on prototype 2. As Project Manager, I organized a team of 25 Mechanical, Computer, and Electrical Engineers to design an underwater vehicle. I reported to and was mentored by the CTO, COO, and CEO. Some achievements: • Invented a modular bulk heads system and a galvanic release system • Manufactured parts of the vessel out of materials that ranged from metal, rubber and plastics• Worked in Solidworks to design the subsections of the vehicles from scratch• Gained experience with machining equipment (lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, and sanders)• Hired and interviewed employeesOverall, this was a great experience that taught me a "get it done under any circumstances attitude." I learned a lot about execution and how to engineer for tough ocean enviroments.
Information Technology Department
My first corporate internship. I interned in Halcyon's IT department for a few summers. The Head of IT took me under his wing and taught me a lot about computers, customer service, and figuring things out under pressure. The IT staff and I were responsible for the maintenance and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and blackberry devices. We responded to help desk calls and provided online and in-person desktop support. I learned the basics of Linux Mint 11 OS, LXDE 11 OS, and Ubuntu 10.04 OS operating systems.
Team Co-Founder
NYU Tandon Motorsports builds a Baja "dune buggy" to compete in annual races/competitions.As a Founding member of NYU Tandon’s first team, I wore many hats. We started with just an idea and a few members in September. We raised $35,000 from NYU (a generous amount of money for a school team,) had no "official" workshop, and figured out how to produce a working car in 6 months.Over those months, we built teams, processes, and partnerships to get the car done. After many late nights, we succeeded and the team still lives on to this day. I learned a lot about what it was like to have an idea, convince people to follow you and invest money, and then to live through the ups/downs to produce a product within a short time frame. I got the opportunity to work with and lead some of NYU's brightest and even sold one of my tooling designs to NYU (Welding Taco.)
3D Printed Leonardo Tank
My team and I designed and manufactured a battery-electric replica of Leonardo’s famous tank from scratch and 3D printed the design tank.
