Re-wired and re-programmed the PLC-based control system for the off-shore wind anchor installation tool while working closely with the core team to bring the prototype from the fabrication to field-testing stages. Used SOLIDWORKS to design electronics enclosures and a subsea hydraulic manifold for hydraulic motor control. Did heavy hands-on testing and debugging and personally controlled the prototype during experiments.

Modeled swarm robots walking and self-assembling in Webots with C++. Adapted models from 2D to 3D while maintaining similar behaviors and rulesets.

Hired as a student who excelled in the course the semester previous, I joined the teaching team to help students understand the math and physics concepts being taught and to create tools for the students’ learning, like ready-made MATLAB functions for more technical operations not taught by the class, and fully functional solution code files for difficult problems.

Interviewed future users, did multiple iterations of UI/UX design between rounds of beta-testing, and helped create a Python web app to encompass the features needed. Developed with K. Hinh, J. Greenberg, and R. Eisenbud with the goal of creating a more connected school community at a time we needed it most.

Managed the Fabrication and Design subteams as well as the team’s schedule and agenda as President. Trained Leadership Team while continuing to manage Pit Crew, and Project Leads. As team Vice President, managed the Control Systems Subteam, and helped develop our Entrepreneurship Award-winning business plan.FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 199, Deep Blue Robotics, is a third-year team established in August of 2015 by students at Carlmont High School to make STEM and business education accessible for Carlmont students through the avenue of FIRST. Deep Blue Robotics participates in FRC, the FIRST-organized robotics competition. Each year, we are handed a challenge from FIRST and have six weeks to build a robot to overcome that challenge.
