I am a solutions oriented, dedicated, team player, always looking for opportunities to enhance development pathways and systems - and this of course, is with all levels of stakeholder in mind. I believe that achieving desired learning outcomes all comes back to alignment. From a thorough learning problem analysis which recognises the individuals on the front line, to the employment of specific and achievable deeper learning opportunities. Learning should be valuable, offering practical and positive insights - an experience which empowers the individual to develop functional capacities. I believe it's this passion for learning design and opportunities to innovate that similarly provided unique professional opportunities for me as a student on the same MA program. Along side my placement, these opportunities included: supporting the Head of Academic Studies to identify undergraduate student learning challenges relating to critical thinking and academic literacies, developing and embedding appropriate teaching and learning activities to content which would enhance successful student outcomes; co-lecturing on an area of specialisation (self-regulated learning and metacognitive processes) alongside a course leader, receiving an invitation to sit on a curriculum and instructional design assessment panel as a guest.
