Geothermal Energy Nordic AS (GTML) is a renewable energy company. The main business is to build, own and operate energy plants that provide renewable heat from deep energy wells to clients at competitive prices and with minimal use of land on the surface. The GTML team has extensive experience within geothermal energy, the oil and gas industry and the finance sector and has been involved in the first two deep-well energy systems in operation in the Nordics.

Yeager Energy aims to develop and operate geothermal energy and district heating networks at scale, using innovative business models, accelerating the uptake by industry, residential users and greenhouse horticulture customers, providing an essential contribution to the heat transition in The Netherlands. Yeager Energy's application of geothermal energy consists of an innovative combination of subsurface and surface facilities - wells, heat and cold distribution and storage and an intelligent, demand driven control system, which enables year round supply of heating and cooling. We intend to combine geothermal heat sources with waste heat from datacentres, freezers, industrial processes, etc. We intend to develop and operate systems in cooperation with local authorities and/or energy cooperatives, at all times being fully compliant with HSE regulations and with due consideration for the protection of wildlife and the environment.

Responsible for a 15 well onshore drilling campaign as part of the exploration and appraisal of the fluvial sediments of the Kenyan South Lokichar basin and its waxy crude discoveries; definition of subsurface requirements for water injection and production test design and analysis. Excelled in operational role, focused on value for money. Focal point between Operator Tullow and Joint Venture Partners on any decisions on E&A wells drilled or tested. Ran partner meetings and built excellent relationships with Joint Venture; liaised with Government of Kenya and Kenyan secondees in the London office; ensured consistency of approach with exploration and well engineering, but also with field operations and facilities.

Co-ordinated subsurface and facilities technical efforts on the offshore deepwater turbidites of the Jubilee and TEN fields offshore Ghana; used the new field models to write the 2012 Jubilee Full Field Development Plan, including near field and in-field tie-in options, on behalf of Operator Tullow Oil and its Joint Venture partners. Technical and commercial discussions with Ghana authorities on the incremental development of the Jubilee Field and its near field potential and on gaining TEN Fields Development Plan approval. Established key relationships with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the Petroleum Commission in Accra and employed Ghanaian secondees into Tullow London. Negotiated for the partnership to avoid a field equity redetermination in 2014.

Using oil industry expertise, provided reserve-based loans to UK E&P companies or overseas companies looking to raise finance against a portfolio of assets including some in the North Sea. The financing ranged from development finance for appraised fields through to the more typical secured RBL financing against a portfolio of producing and non-producing fields. Set-up working group with engineering firms, oil companies and banks to address decommissioning financing options.

Corporate role with functional responsibility for staff and quality control for all development planning, subsurface evaluations, volumetrics and exploration prospect risking, covering the Canadian East Coast Jeanne d'Arc Basin developments (Terra Nova, White Rose, Hibernia and Hebron pre-development), onshore fields in the Libyan Sirte Basin, the central Syrian Ebla gas project and Northwest Europe operations, including Buzzard and Golden Eagle in the UK, the NL Hanze and De Ruyter fields and their exploration tie-in potential and any exploration wells and potential development projects in the Norwegian offshore. Co-ordination of Field Redetermination activities, including the successfully concluded Terra Nova Redetermination and two other Canadian East Coast field determinations. Advising Libyan office on Redetermination in a Sirte Basin producing field. Technical focal point for Acquisition and Divestment activities. In 2009 chosen by staff to chair the Employee Representatives Committee in a 90-day consultation process related to redundancies and closure of the Petro-Canada/Suncor London office towards the end of 2010.

Manager Development and New Ventures Geoscience; Responsibility for Development Geoscience for International and Offshore division, covering acreage outside the Canadian Rockies and oil sands; this included the NW Europe Buzzard, Golden Eagle, Scott, Telford and the ‘Triton’ fields in the UK and the Hanze field and the De Ruyter cluster in the Netherlands, Libya onshore Amal, Ghani, Farigh, En Naga and Ed Dib fields, Syria onshore appraisal for the Ebla gas project and the oil fields in the Canadian eastern offshore: Terra Nova, White Rose, Hibernia and Hebron. Focal point for exploration and development business development opportunities; redetermination advisor. Provision of growth opportunities in exploration, appraisal, pre-development and development. General Manager Norway, Stavanger, 2006: Acquired the first five licences in Norway and achieved Operator status. Selected and opened office in Stavanger, recruited key staff and initiated participation in the next licensing rounds.Buzzard Asset Manager, 2004: From acquisition until set-up of in-house Buzzard Asset Team. New Ventures Exploration Manager: Co-ordinated technical/commercial business opportunity evaluations. Ran acquisition teams, including the acquisition of 30% of Buzzard and the Golden Eagle acreage from Intrepid. Acquired the Pict field and Saxon prospect as tie-ins to the Triton FPSO. Pre-empted the sale of 50% of the Clapham field and was responsible for its field development planning (100% Petro-Canada). Worked to establish areas for expansion, evaluating assets/companies for farm-in and/or acquisition, including Energy Africa and the giant Tambey gas field on the Siberian Yamal Peninsula; company made successful bids in Trinidad, Norway and Morocco. Took part in a multi-company consortium study in preparation for a bid to re-develop four fields in northern Kuwait. Prepared Papers for Board Approval. Development of individuals within the group through mentoring and leadership.
