This young man also has a unique sense of humor and unflinching faith which I believe helps guide him in both his morals and the building of his most trusted relationships with his students, families and other stakeholders. I have also always admired Mr. Hampton for his ability to simplify Math for those of us who may find it difficult. He is patient and non-judgmental with us as he and I often chat about my challenges with the subject through my Graduate School program. He has put my nerves at ease, and I'll be graduating with a Masters in School Counseling next year. In return, he has become more and more curious about tapping into my areas of expertise which are Policy, History and English. This is to say that Jules is a candidate who is more than a Math Teacher.
