UNDP in collaboration with SDC and DANIDA has developed this project titled Efficient and Accountable Local Governance (EALG) with the aim to strengthen the capacities of local governments and other stakeholders to foster participatory local development service delivery for the SDGs. That was the first time LGD with support from UNDP, took an initiative to create a platform for young researchers to work on local governance issues and come up with results. 52 young researchers from different public universities received research grants in groups or as individuals to enhance understanding of local governance issues of the researchers and improve their skills.

The main objective of this journal to egg on intellectual practice among students. It is published half-yearly. It is always appreciated by teachers and students of JU for its academic quality. This journal is based on social, political, and economic discourses of both national and international affairs.I worked as both sub-editor and editor at different times. I oversaw the publication of the 3 issues of the journal. I Edited and prepared submitted articles for publication. I presided 4 programs, organized 2 writing competitions, and a workshop during my tenure. I also managed 15 executive members, set up at least 1 committee meeting a month, and planned to distribute the journal among the university community. Moreover, I proofread and illustrated the manuscripts.
