NRV Cares is a private, nonprofit organization that works to advocate for, educate, and promote happy, healthy children and families. Working with various community partners, we strive to prevent child abuse and neglect in the New River Valley and surrounding areas. Through our various programs and partnerships, we provide not only community education, but parent support, and a voice for victims of child abuse and neglect. No child should ever have to endure abuse of any kind. It is our responsibility, their village, to ensure the safety of our children. Together, we are better. Together our children have a chance at happy, successful lives; working together in our community means getting out and talking to community leaders and legislators, promoting strong funding models, and providing vital education; making a difference by inspiring others to make a difference.

*Manage a portfolio of over 150 accounts within the industries of legal, finance, insurance, real estate, transportation, and non-profits with a revenue of over $1M.*Generate revenue and other required resources by taking a consultative approach to current and potential partners in support of UWRV community impact goals.*Cultivate sustainable relationships with current and prospective donors that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes*Communicate, promote and advocate the importance of community involvement, partnership and investment through education, collaboration and fundraising.*Gain market intelligence and develop corresponding strategies that lead to increased market improved forecasting accuracy.*Serve as the year-around point of contact and strategic consultant for community engagement.*Responsible and accountable for problem solving and decision making with partners to reach target results.*Execute specific multi-year development action plans to ensure cultivation of relationships and to drive revenue growth.Provide the ideal experience for corporate investors by promptly handling inquiries, valuing donor gifts and regularly communicating about UWRV investments and the community impact those investments are making.*Manage corporate and donor data efficiently and accurately project and forecast annual and multi-year revenue associated with workplace portfolio.*Maintain a current understanding of and be able to articulate to investors and the community at large, UWRV’s community impact model, focus area initiatives and results.*Direct and coach leadership executives and play a role in training.*Cultivate and develop new relationships with individuals and organizations to raise and leverage both financial and non-financial resources to achieve UWRV organizational goals.*Participate in community and civic activities or organizations to increase networking and public awareness of UWRV.
