As the Director, I produced all aspects of gallery exhibitions and art fairs including logistics, scheduling and fabrication of, spearheading the production of over 73 unique exhibitions and 50 art fairs. I also oversaw daily operations, including client and artist relationships, sales inquiries (phone, email and in-person), management of the gallery’s digital artwork database, contracts, consignments and press requests, created and scheduled enticing social media posts on Instagram and Facebook, coordinated with vendors, and booked art handlers and shipping companies. I tripled outreach and exhibition programming by hosting artist talks, panel discussions, one-on-one interviews and weekly gallery tours; reaching new and diverse audiences and connecting with up to 100 people per event.

As a freelance Producer, I generated estimates based on visuals and pre-production meetings for commercial print campaigns and television commercials for single day and week-long shoots with budgets up to $200,000. I negotiated rates and contracts with ad agencies, casting studios and location scouts. I facilitated efficient communication of art direction between client and photographer. I designed production schedules for effective use of talent, crew, location and budget and hired and supervised crews ranging from 5 to 75 people per project, which included set designers, prop and wardrobe stylists, grips, hair/makeup stylists, digital techs, and RV rental teams. A producer relies on creative problem-solving techniques to resolve pre-production delays, on-set time challenges, and budget restrictions. I maintained tight budgets throughout production and on-set days and streamlined post-production wrap process to ensure efficient processing of paperwork and payments.

As a Studio Manager and Producer for Steve Grubman I researched and developed estimates for in-state and out-of-state studio and location-based commercial and editorial photography shoots for ad agencies. I managed casting calls and hired talent that included people and animals. I hired and oversaw crew members, including assistants, digital techs, prop and wardrobe stylists, hair/makeup stylists, animal handlers and baby wranglers. I maintained tight production schedules and tracked production expenses to meet budgets. And managed administrative business functions, including pulling permits, booking travel, managing model and location releases, and invoicing and arranging payments.
