Promote positive institutional change by assisting administrative units in maintaining gender equity as key component of University mission; Organize & develop arts and theatre programs that reflect issues of gender; Communicate women's concerns to policy makers by generating data, developing reports, and serving on University committees; Provide organizing assistance for diverse groups on campus and in the community; Facilitate workshops on gender and diversity issues; Initiate and lead programs and training sessions consistent with Center vision; Research funding sources through grant writing, philanthropy, fund-raising; Train and hire interns, student workers, and volunteers; Supervise students, interns, and support staff; Advocate and counsel students and student organizations; Develop and edit brochures and newsletters; Assist in programming and implementation of New Student Orientation; Attend conferences; Collaborate with community agencies.

Grant-funded program, "Project Opportunity", researched and contacted internships; supervised, placed and evaluated AFDC women in non-profit internships; communicated with supervisors weekly; counseled women in work-related issues; taught work experience/basic skills class, managed attendance data for welfare office.
