Provide pre-sales technical support to multiple sales reps for IBM accounts in the Southern California area. Support and solution design, implementation, and system integration for IBM x86 server sales opportunities. Perform technical tasks including analysis, design, product installation, skills transfer, test and system integration. Prepare and perform technical presentations to individual customers or in group environments on various IBM x86 server solutions. Provide technology skills transfer to customers and to peers.

Provide daily management of contractor workforce that supported a complex, integrated network of over 700 Win95/NT/OS2 PCs in the SoCalGas Call Center – a critical business function receiving 10 million customer calls annually. Consistently maintained high availability and high client satisfaction ratings.Hands-on, back end support of over 40 WinNT and OS2 file servers.Facilitate, track and purchasing of all hardware/ software required for Customer Contact organization, asset management and inventory of computer equipment.

Provided IT Project consulting and support to the Engineering Department on various large-scale IT projects. Ensured valid business case was given for IT projects. Project examples include TechRefresh99 (W2K Project), Call Center ACD Project, Branch Office Computer Redeployment, USA Tickets in E-mail, and Dig Alert Tracking System (DART).Achieved high levels of client satisfaction by providing client support and communications. Served as a technical advisor to EDS client groups and was their advocate on IT related issues. Assisted business unit in budget planning. Kept clients informed about key IT issues and initiatives.IT Operations Support – Identified technical strategies to improve EDS operational efficiencies, increase profitable meter growth and enhance customer satisfaction. Identified ways to improve service and reduce costs. Assisted client organizations in monitoring and maintaining service level agreements. Matched client business needs with standard IT solutions wherever possible to ensure high availability, interoperability and low cost. Obtained agreement of tradeoffs with clients when deviation from the standards was necessary. BT position was held from July 1997 through Sept 1999. I held a few additional IT support positions from Dec 2000 until July 1997. Positions changed as IT organization made changes.
