Growing up, I tried my hand at every sport I could, from softball to flag football and cheerleading. I cherished the memories I made and the lessons I learned along the way. Naturally, when it came time to consider my career path, I knew I wanted to work in sports.In my junior year of high school, I discovered public relations, which perfectly merged two of my passions: writing and communication. That’s when it became clear that a career in sports PR was my ideal path.I am a current junior at Temple University, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Sports Management. During my time here I have been active in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The Temple News in which I lead The Temple News Engagement Team and manage the TTN social media accounts. As a Klein Rising Peer Mentor, I work with incoming students to support their transition to Klein College and facilitate helpful dialogue in the classroom. Lastly, I am a student writer for Klein College of Media and Communication. In this position, I brainstorm, interview and write articles posted on Klein College website. I am currently an Athletic Communications Intern for The University of Pennsylvania Athletic Department. I assist in day-to-day operations, record in-game statistics for home games and write game recaps, announcements and press releases to be posted on pennatheltics.com.
