As the two-year editor for The Harbinger Online, I managed daily online content and led the staff to one NSPA First Place Best-in-Show awards, along with an online Pacemaker and two Second Place Best-in-Show. I also wrote for the print edition and edited print content, helping the staff to three back-to-back NSPA First Place Best-in-Show awards and a Kansas State Journalism championship. During my two years as an editor, I anchored live broadcasts of football and basketball games, and expanded our digital presence to include interactive media and online-exclusive packages such as The Suicide Project and The Middle of the Map Project. In the entirety of the my four-year career on The Harbinger, I won over 12 national and international Story of the Year awards and over 40 local, state and regional awards in writing, photography and broadcast journalism.
