My name is Julia and I've been a Registered Nurse since 2015. For most of my career, I was an emergency department nurse and enjoyed mentoring other nurses that were new to the specialty. I also pursued qualification in pediatric emergency nursing and taught the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course for several years. After enjoying taking a leadership role in the emergency department I moved on to a Coordinator position for several years, though I still frequently picked up shifts in the emergency department, as well as in the critical care unit and post-anesthetic recovery unit. My passions continue to include pediatric nursing and mentoring novice nurses at the bedside.
