Participated in the purchase order process. Starting with the vendor setup, the purchase requests, the item selection which links to the chart of accounts, the work flow process, printing and sending purchase orders, and finally closing the purchase orders.I also did special projects which included analyzing travel agencies responses to a RFP, contract analysis, financial spending analysis, and set up a procurement website. The website included everything employees needed to know about procurement, and travel and expenses with links to sites they needed, policies and procedures, and a FAQs page.Performed commission-reporting responsibilities including data compilation and verification, calculations, and employee communications. I also worked on a project where I had to do financial analysis and reporting of the business deals to the compensation payouts for those deals. The applications I used for this project was Netsuit, and salesforce.com.Another financial analysis project I did was to analysis the potential customer inquires to the marketing qualified leads, to the sales qualified leads, and ultimately to the deals that were won. The purpose of this project was to understand how many marketing qualified leads the company needs to obtain to reach its revenue model. I used salesforce.com as the key application for this project. Then used excel, powerpoint, and Microsoft word to compile and present all my findings.I was involved in the collection process by sending out dunning letters to customers with open unpaid invoices. I collected the data from the accounts receivable listing, and the customer master file in Netsuit.Over the summer I was responsible for the projects, and management for the new interns. I met with them daily and made sure their projects were proceeding on plan, and to assign and to teach them any new projects.
