Julia Benoit is from the rural town of Athol, Massachusetts. They attended Athol High School for the first two years of their high school career. For the last two years, they attended Mount Wachusett Community College full-time. They did the dual-enrollment program and gained college credits and knowledge—technically graduating from Gardner High School in 2023. Julia started attending Franklin Pierce University in the fall of 2023 and earned the FP Presidential Scholarship upon enrollment. They are majoring in Health Science and taking classes that let them explore their possibilities for future occupations. Julia volunteered at a local senior center for a year, where she got to help senior citizens with many different tasks such as technology. She realized how much she loved being able to help others using the knowledge she was able to attain and share. Working a part-time job while attending high school and college also taught her skills in problem-solving, leadership and teamwork, and efficient communication. Julia is expected to graduate in May 2025. They are considering learning opportunities and careers in Nursing.
