I love problems. I love finding creative solutions to longstanding issues. I love the challenge of working across multiple disciplines to cultivate the most strategic thinking and create great products and experiences. I love learning from people who excel in their field but have been under valued or struggled with change, and seeing how much better we can be together. I love listening to people, and challenging traditional practices to effect change and be the best we can be for a public we serve. I love identifying gaps and filling them. I love unravelling broken processes and working with others to fix them and make things easier. Cultural learning presents unique opportunities for inclusive participation. A clutch of great roles within cultural learning have given me the chance to create experiences to reflect different learning styles, challenge conventional narratives and meet practical needs - working on exhibitions, learning resources, whole environments, major events, learning programmes and considering the individual experience in the most holistic way. I am tenacious in my commitment to a healthy organisational culture and a strong advocate of feeling safe at work. As a manager and leader I recognise the importance of supporting and communicating with each other in different ways, acknowledging difference and hearing perspectives. I am an experienced mentor who is committed to supporting the professional development of others, recognising the importance of nurturing strength - and simply feeling good about oneself.
