Since 2015 I have been creating content for what started as a blog and since then has become a professional website with articles about sustainability and well-being.Falka is an online magazine aiming to inspire adults to live more in peace with nature and themselves. From 2017 to 2021 Falka.fi was also part of my own company J.Degerth. Some of the tasks of the company was to support sustainable and mostly local Finnish brands to get more visibility (f.ex. companies selling food that regular stores didn't sell anymore, companies creating fashion from old army fabrics etc). Falka.fi is also a website that is easy on the eye and one of the most important aspects of actually inspiring and reaching the right audience, is to create an atmosphere of warmth but also visual joy. I work on that constantly and let myself be inspired by other creators with ideas that resonate with me.Through Falka.fi I am improving my writing, my language and my photography as well as learning about interesting topics through the research I do.

I worked at Den Lille Café for seven months, having responsibility of orders and administrative tasks as well as regular cafe work and customer service. This fun job allowed me to learn Danish as well as to become more organized regarding storage spaces and administrative work.

As a Data Assistant, I work with HCP and HCO related data in both Finland and Sweden, to maintain the high quality in our database. In this employment I have also taken part in call campaigns, team work within and across teams such as helping the IT and Sales department as well as providing customer support to large global companies located in the Nordics.

I worked at Fabbes Café since it opened its doors in 2012 until August 2021 when I moved abroad. I started as a café worker and continued as a Manager.Some of the key tasks I worked with:-helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as developing the place to be more sustainable. Through different campaigns and creating content for them, we were able to fight both food waste and raise awareness about different important causes.-managing the team and recruiting new team members, communicating with my supervisor and making sure personnel related issues were taken into consideration as well as improving the café both for the workers and customers.-creating new products and brainstorming around marketing and analyzing customer behavior and patterns such as which days (Mon-Fri) gave the best/lowest sales and why + how to improve.-creating a new updated website for Fabbes Café with weekly updates - which I am still responsible for, working remotely.

J.Degerth aims to raise awareness about sustainability, environmentalism, human rights and well-being by creating inspiring and helpful content online. The website Falka.fi is part of J.Degerth and works as a site for whenever you have questions regarding sustainability. J.Degerth works together with small and large brands to create a better world.In September 2020, J.Degerth opened its first online store - Falkabutik. Falkabutik wants to make the switch to a more environmentally friendly product as easy as possible, as well as provide the customers with carefully chosen second hand and vintage clothing. The sustainable practices in Falkabutik are as good as they get - from locally produced sustainable products, to reused boxes and biking/walking/public transport as our way to get around. The goal is to create one of the best second hand online stores in Finland, step by step. Falkabutik gets better both in products and design/layout/shopping experience, every month.

My last internship before graduating and becoming a Community Educator, was in Copenhagen at Foreningen Norden. My job was to give FN more visibility, find people from other Nordic countries living in Denmark and helping them find a job. We also arranged events and meetings with young people to help them feeling more integrated in Copenhagen.

I was an intern for KSF Media / Ratata.fi and created content online for them. I helped smaller blogs get more visibility and tried creating a more active community at Ratata. Through campaigns and lots of activity on the front page, I was able to increase the amount of visitors and spread the word about this platform.
