Responsible for day-to-day facilities maintenance and operations (e.g., recycling, lighting, temperature control, water problems, janitorial services, etc.).• Managing procurement of office equipment, furniture and supplies. Handling minor repairs of furniture and furnishings and issues regarding office maintenance.• Managing Oceana’s general office supply inventory, including purchasing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels, negotiating with vendors to ensure best pricing and quality • Creating check requests for payment of office supplies and some general office services.• Assisting with monthly staff meetings, setting up the conference room, printing off agendas and resetting the conference room after meeting.• Assigning and managing security key system.• Assisting HR Department with orientation process, posting open positions on Oceana’s website, maintaining organizational charts, and setting up employee appreciation events.• Assisting with the planning of the International Staff Meeting.
