Major Achievements:◊ Successful in meeting and exceeding challenging organisational goals and KPIs including:- Increased permanent FTE Medical Practitioners from 3.5 to 6.7 FTE with zero reliance on locum services.- Expanded enrolled population from 3,500 to 6,500 meaning increased primary care access for Māori, Pacific and quintile 5 patients. - Improved capacity from 45% utilisation to 80% leading to improved access for whanau.- Oversaw a major tender and implementation process for on-site dispensing pharmacy; Led the due diligence, procurement process and transition of practice management system to the alternative supplier.◊ Active in assessing and developing organisational core values across the business. Key Responsibilities:◊ Facilitate clinical best practice within all services and general practices.◊ Support the achievement of the DHBNZ clinical performance management indicators.◊ Facilitate / manage Cornerstone facilitation contract with RNZCGP.◊ Support the development of registered nurse portfolios and Nursing Council NZ professional competency requirements.◊ Reduce inequalities for under serviced communities including Māori, Pacific Island and quintile five patients.Major Achievements:◊ Led a successful proposal to the HHBPHO board for enhanced CarePlus services using accrued reserves.◊ CarePlus achieved all performance targets for high need populations and over half of practices achieved their performance management targets for this programme.◊ Secured Cornerstone facilitation funding for HBPHO practices direct from MoH. ◊ Flinders Certified in self-management support and worked with Flinders University to facilitate ‘Train the Trainer’ courses in Hawkes Bay.◊ Awarded Fellowship in the College of Nurses Aotearoa (NZ) Inc (Jan 2011).
