I have 14 years of research experience, using molecular tools to provide support to agriculture industries, investigating innovative solutions that the industry can use to work more profitable and effectively. In my recent appointment as research lead in Insects and Disease for Horticulture and Irrigated Agriculture, I am able to apply the experiences I have in host parasite interactions, disease management, pollinators, sensor development and remote monitoring to research in horticulture.I have an interest in Integrative Pest and Disease Management, growing healthy plants, soil health and assisting growers to futureproof sustainable growing practices, optimising production and securing market access.

I am still working with the honey beekeeping industry on honey bee nutrition.
