I am a member of the JANUS Geography program for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. I perform geospatial production work including feature collection, feature attribution, error fixing, topology fixing and imagery interpretation using ArcMap. I am also a member of the NOME (NSG Open Mapping Enclave) initiative to produce dynamic content using JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap) for the geospatial intelligence community.

I assisted in the management of invasive plant species in forest preserves and prairies of northern Illinois. We interpret maps and reports on various sites to design functional plans to conserve struggling ecosystems. This position uses herbicide application and manual plant removal methods.

I started Lone Pine Art Co. as a way to express my creativity through wood burning and laser cutting in a way that connects me to nature and my community. What started as a personal expression led me to connecting to other local artists and participating in Pop Up Boone, a local artisan market in Boone, NC. I now have my own Etsy page as well as bulk wholesale orders with local business owners downtown Boone.

In this position I assisted with aquatic wildlife sampling, data collection/management, spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro, and map production and design. This position required foot travel on difficult terrain for initial environmental data collection followed by data processing using ESRI software. I used a combination of spatial analysis and cartographic design to produce final maps for reports.

In this position I assisted in the Pollinators along the Blue Ridge Parkway component of the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory for the National Park Service. I independently collected, processed, sorted, and identified specimens in the field and laboratory. I also performed data management of species inventory collected over multiple years of the study.
