I have worked in work-based learning for 20 years. I am an articulate person with excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with learners, colleagues and other external organisations. I have empathy with people and a desire to assist them to achieve their career and learning aspirations and promote career guidance so that they are able to achieve their full potential. I have the ability to act decisively and concisely in the best interests of the learner and employer and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. I am able to establish clear priorities and am able to think through problems systematically and review and develop processes to improve efficiency. One of my key strengths is the ability to quickly build exceptional rapport with employers and learners. I am friendly and approachable and have the ability to pick up new tasks, procedures and policies quickly. I feel that currently I am at a cross road within my career and feel that I am ready to take on a new challenge and am dedicated to improving the lives of others.
