Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the 3rd leading cause of disease-related death in U.S. I work with local research teams and independently to develop, implement and coordinate clinical research for COPDGene® to better understand the progression of and risk factors for COPD. I travel to clinical centers across the United States to collaborate with and assist local coordinators in conducting study visits and other clinical research responsibilities and perform diverse administrative duties regarding the study specific protocol. During the Covid-19 pandemic, COPDGene® is also conducting antibody research and research to understand the impact of the pandemic on medically vulnerable populations.
