I am currently working at McLean Hospital 3East Adolescent DBT residential program. In this program patients receive individualized treatment plans that address life interfering and treatment interfering behaviors while also educating them on the principles and practices of Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Community resident counselors coach patients in real time through DBT skills aimed to increase mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. In the future, I plan to pursue counseling and clinical psychology with a focus on trauma informed, behavioral, and positive psychology interventions to treat emotional dysregulation due to trauma, anxiety, personality, or mood disorder. In my spare time, I love to practice yoga, hike, cook, and take ballet and modern dance classes!
