I was seventeen years old when I discovered what the concept of “public relations” even is, but I was nine when my parents concluded I was PR-bound. At first they thought I might be a journalist – except the household newsletter I printed and distributed on a weekly basis was not exactly a nonbiased, objective publication. Although I refused to print anything less than factual, I’ve always preferred word choice a little more on the connotative side. So here I am. I’d be what they call a millennial. Social media captivates me. I possess a passable creative streak and thirst for new experiences. When I find free time, the world can find me fueling my sporadic blogging tendency, attempting to make all my friends care about each of Adweek’s featured commercials, and most importantly, consuming macaroni and cheese. PR is my dream because I’m taken with a world that marries writing with business, design, and (best of all) Twitter. Questions? Good news. I’m a fan of communication.
