Senior Proposal Advisor Ii
Current•Serve as senior proposal manager for critical high-value deals, major accounts, complex strategic proposal efforts (domestically and in Canada) as needed •Focus on putting Axon’s sales team in the best position to win competitive RFX opportunities•Combine expansive knowledge of Axon’s product lines to aid in the development of competitive proposals•Provide oversight and review on all proposals submitted by Axon, so they not only "check the box" on specifications, but also communicate the compelling value of Axon’s products, ecosystem, and focus on customers•Mentor and coach proposal managers and support at varying levels on priority opportunities and projects based on availability and fit•Provide proposal strategy guidance and support to proposal managers•Analyze all RFPs and identify risks, possible win themes, provide guidance on response strategies•Participate in kickoff calls and the completion of active RFPs to maintain knowledge and continue learning about new products and enhancements of current offerings, stay up to speed on all deals, new products, changes, etc.•Assist proposal managers with escalations•Review bid responses prior to submission•Periodically assess, recommend changes to, and fully document processes•Provide feedback to technical writing team - identify gaps in content, create new and/or update existing content to ensure accuracy, competitiveness and consistency with marketing strategies and overall company message•Manage compilation and communication of emerging requirements expressing desire for new features to product teams.•Facilitate adherence to defined operational processes, business policies, brand, style and writing standards and producing compliant responses•Conduct individual coaching and group training to continuously expand the knowledge and skillset of the proposal team •Create best practice procedures by identifying problematic areas to the leadership team
