About Julia Lessing

I am a qualified actuary (FIAA) and ICF ACC coach based in Australia. My 20+ year actuarial career has spanned actuarial consulting in life insurance, wealth management, health and government services. I have held roles as a big 4 consultant, business owner, corporate actuary, actuarial educator, counsellor, mentor and coach. Through my consulting career I have seen how the actuarial skillset can be used to help leaders use data to solve many tricky problems. Through my work as a mentor and coach, I have seen how developing key non-technical skills such as communication, management, leadership and stakeholder negotiation can help actuaries accelerate their careers in their chosen direction.As an experienced actuary, mentor and coach, I am uniquely placed to help you accelerate your actuarial career.
