Successfully managed a DevOps team in support of mission critical applications.• Turned around how the Sterling Team was perceived by having them align with appropriate release standards and project intake processes without overburdening them with bureaucracy. Collaborated with the team to review IT Security policies and create processes and tools to ensure these standards were followed which resulted in easy to provide evidence during audits and support of needed security measures when exchanging sensitive data with external partners. • Lead the team in performing the Sterling upgrade which was a collaborative effort between IT Applications and Infrastructure. Upgrade was highly successful with no disruption of service due to incidents and a well executed communication plan to ensure proper alerting of activities to both internal and external partners.• Executed the DevOps model for the entire team, ensuring proper project intake and delivery along with managing the Production Operations vendor team. Within the first year, worked with the team to review and identify recurring incidents and implemented changes driving down incidents by 25% in the first year.• Drove the team to improve performance by initiating an effort to improve First Pass Rate by incorporating regression testing as performed by QA but for use by our developers so they can ensure any code changes would not break the Production environment – in progress• Strategized with Director to create a 2 year plan to cross train the team so we could maximize resource assignments for projects.

• Fulfilled an Executive Management promise and saved a large client by managing a project to mimic a legacy system using a vendor's hosted solution since the client was not ready to migrate to BSC's upgraded system. Solution required working with the internal Business sponsor to determine the requirements of the Legacy system and how those requirements would be mapped to the new system. Then engaged the vendor to communicate and align to the requirements. Drove the team to a very tight timeline which resulted in a project success and maintaining a very large client.

• Coordinated amongst Development, QA, Support, and Release teams (including both onshore and offshore team member) to drive the delivery of major and minor releases.• Conducted weekly status meetings to monitor and track status as well as communicate pertinent information to the teams regarding portfolio releases. Communications included tracking and reporting of dependencies, issues, action items, risks and associated mitigation plans. Reported to management staff on progress against key portfolio milestones.

• Turned around a poor client relationship during a project by carefully guiding the client through the project process, offering my assistance when necessary to complete required tasks, and ensuring that the internal schedule was maintained all resulting in an on time production deployment and much praise from the client.• Acted as the customer advocate and primary contact for clients in leading several successful engagements from Project Kick Off to the turnover to our Customer Support group. Worked with clients to educate them on the products, lead them through the on-boarding process, report status internally and to the client, and drive them through User Acceptance Testing to Production Deployment to accomplish a quick time to revenue.
