Writing is my grown-up job. I consider myself lucky - after all, how many people actually go with their original choice of a dream career when asked by their teacher, mom, or grandma, “Who do you want to be when you grow up?”In all honesty, my first-ever answer was “A doctor” - just like my grandma Jagoda. I quickly realized, though, that I needed to follow my own path and nurture my independent spirit. From then on, my answer was “A writer.”Even though I haven’t published a single book under my name (yet!), I have proofread and edited 10. Instead of using poetic devices, I weave the best SEO practices into pages and pages of content. I no longer work alone - I manage an awesome team of talented writers and cooperate with many freelancers. I take care of poorly written texts, like a doctor for words. I support, I negotiate, I mentor, I stand up for my team and for myself. At the end of the day, my job involves writing - or writing to people and for people.
