I have long held a deep appreciation for the drive and ingenuity of innovators, fueled by my commitment to the entrepreneurial ethos. Growing up in Seattle, my frequent visits to the Museum of Flight sparked a fascination with aviation and business, leading me to pursue and obtain my pilot's license. I am now working towards becoming a professional pilot, while also developing leadership aspirations within the corporate world.At 17, I began my professional journey at The Reserves Network as a recruiting coordinator. This role exposed me to diverse recruitment, interview, and selection processes, allowing me to interact closely with branch managers, Vice Presidents, C-suite executives, candidates, and staff. These experiences deepened my interest in business operations and motivated me to study finance at Miami University's Farmer School of Business.During my time at the Farmer School of Business, I transitioned from recruitment to a payroll intern/coordinator role within the accounting department, reflecting my growing passion for finance. My academic journey has been marked by personal and professional growth, including leadership responsibilities as Vice President of Membership within PGN, a respected business organization.I then transitioned into the role of a Finance and Operations Intern at Flexjet, where I collaborated with Embry-Riddle engineers on a project to train GPT on company-specific data. This initiative aimed to optimize efficiency across various departments. Our work culminated in a significant presentation before major stakeholders, including the CAO and CTO. During my time at Flexjet, I gained valuable experience in flight operations, audit, marketing, sales, and client relations.In addition, I am the President of Oxford Aviation, an engineering organization on campus focused on innovation. We collaborate with AIAA, providing members with experience in both aviation management, aerospace engineering and pilotage. This role has further enhanced my leadership skills and deepened my understanding of the aviation industry.As I move forward, I remain dedicated to nurturing both my aviation and business skills. The experiences I've gained, from my early days at The Reserves Network to my project with Flexjet and Embry-Riddle engineers, have been instrumental in shaping my career path. I look forward to leveraging my skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the aviation industry and the broader business landscape.
