About Julia Mcdevitt, Msn, Rn

Medical ICU Nurse pursuing a career for the role of a Family Nurse Practitioner in hopes to practice in Family Medicine. After graduating from Shenandoah University with my BSN, I went to work in the Medical ICU at UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to go back to school for my master's at James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, VA. Being from Upstate NY, in the Finger Lakes region, I wanted to be a smidgen closer to home, so we relocated back to Winchester, VA where I currently work in the Critical Care Rapid Assessment Unit at Valley Health's Winchester Medical Center.I am a lover of all things living, but most of all my Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Oaks. You can find me cooking something Italian, making a new sourdough recipe, planning a trip to visit friends and family, or experiencing a new restaurant with my forever person.
