I teach private lessons in guitar, bass, piano, synthesis, and music theory. Connecting with students through their unique musical aspirations is my motivator, and I love learning from them as much as I find purpose in sharing the skills I have to offer. I consistently research and incorporate new technologies and pedagogies into my approach. I believe that it is the responsibility of an instructor to find the most effective and meaningful way to connect with their students.

Over the last decade, I have been hired for recording sessions and national/international tours as a guitarist, bassist, and sound designer/keyboardist. I've had the honor of playing stages and sessions such as the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, NPR Tiny Desk, SXSW, KEXP and KCRW.

William Mathewson Devices (WMD) is a truly innovative manufacturer of music hardware that specializes in eurorack modular synthesizers and FX pedals, and was also a long time contract manufacturer for the eurorack industry. In my six years at WMD, I was promoted four times, obtaining a deep understanding of the needs and goals of each team in the manufacturing pipeline. I utilized this multi-faceted perspective to accomplish the contributions I'm most proud of as QA/QC Manager, including:• Building and managing a new quality control department of five technicians from the ground up while production rapidly increased by 300%, all while maintaining and improving the quality of our product.• Translating the design and engineering of 75+ products into a catalog of quantifiable, easily digested, and educational SOP documents for QC, reducing testing times by 25%, which led to a self-sufficient QC team that surpassed production goals every quarter.• Generating a data collection system that organized QC team findings, pinpointing inefficiencies throughout each step of the manufacturing pipeline, increasing passed inventory rates by 17% and significantly reducing costs.• Increased customer satisfaction by implementing cross-functional team strategies to deliver improved products, strengthening client and consumer relationships and gaining demand.
