Due to a long-running ambition to become a qualified classroom teacher, I completed my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) degree in 2019. Since then, I have had a range of wonderful opportunities to share my enjoyment of Japanese language and culture with teachers and students within primary schools and high schools. Previous to these opportunities, I was teaching music (including private and group piano tuition) and tutoring Japanese language for around 20 years. My teaching experience began through casual teaching at The Bevan College of Music (Sydney) followed by teaching positions at The Music Learning Centre (Canberra) and The International School of Music (Sydney). Based on my enjoyment of music, Japanese and education, I founded Julala's Tuition as a service providing piano, music theory and Japanese language lessons.Qualified with a Bachelor of Asian Studies (Japanese), Cert III Early Childhood Learning and Master of Teaching (secondary), I believe I have the skills and experience required to take on a role within your school where language learning can not only be educational but also enjoyable.
