Planned and managed Scottish events, marketing operations, created content for and ran Microsoft Scotland’s Twitter account, and designed creative assets/collateral for numerous projects internally.- Achieved a Diploma in Digital Marketing (SCQF Level 6). Numerous courses completed in marketing fundamentals such as SEO, Google Analytics, AdWords, email marketing and more.- Led the planning and marketing operations in a team of two to execute Microsoft Scotland’s largest networking and fundraising event, Microsoft’s annual Charity Burns Supper, in 2018 and 2019. £86,000 was raised for three charities in 2018, with over 500 people attending.- Burns Supper: Managed communications between Microsoft and its partners to promote the event and sell table packages. Worked with an external supplier and designer to manage every aspect of the event.Became skilled in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Ran and created graphics/artwork on Illustrator for the Twitter and Snapchat campaign to further promote the 2019 event, increasing Twitter profile visits by 314% and tweet impressions by 377%.- Key role working with Skills Development Scotland to plan and advertise Scotland’s first Apprentice Convention in the EICC. Chosen to deliver the closing speech to over 500 people. Involved in the marketing campaign to promote Scotland’s Apprentice Network, and featured in their promotional video.- Managed production and creation of unique, brand aligned designs for marketing material and digital creative assets on Illustrator for a high profile Microsoft event with senior leadership team opening and supporting the event. Assets included pop up banners, posters, lanyards, newsletters, email headers and event logo. - Part of the Microsoft Education Scotland Team. Created basic hands on coding lessons and presentations, which we delivered in Primary and Secondary schools to encourage children to pursue digital careers.

As my first time working in an office environment, DB Group (Europe) Ltd gave me valuable experience of dealing with customers on a professional level and the importance of communicating and working in a team.Alongside carrying out various admin tasks, I was also in charge of running and updating the company's Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, ensuring important company news and information was published online, giving me a glimpse into the digital marketing world.
