I am a Director at Ford Sinclair; an event management company that was established in 1980. Ford Sinclair produces, organises and manages a number of market-leading events including the PLC Awards, AIM Awards, UK tech awards, European Mediscience Awards and the Private Business Awards. Our events attract over 4,400 attendees each year and have become preeminent celebrations of quoted and private companies in the UK and Europe. My role was to oversee the day to day running of the TV channel, (UK) Gold, which involved managing acquisitions and commissions, research, scheduling, marketing, PR and media planning.I was responsible for the ROI planning of the channel and managed the P&L whilst also ensuring the channel met all its key performance indicators.

I was responsible for all the marketing and communications on TV channels, Dave & Gold.I was responsible for the re-brand of Dave from UKTV G2 and won over 15 industry awards for this project. I worked with the creative agency on the strategy and planning of the re-brand and oversaw all the on and off air creative executions. The re-brand included a £1m off air marketing budget, which I was solely responsible for managing.
