My name is Julia Piller and I am currently a student at Oregon State University majoring in Apparel Design. I also run a small business selling vintage and handmade clothing both online and at flea markets. I grew up in Montana and in 2019 I moved to Portland, Oregon to find more growth and opportunity in the fashion industry. This move was life changing for me and it has allowed me to explore my interests and pursue my goals of working in creative design. Since attending school I have gained skills in sewing and pattern making, fashion illustration, trend forecasting, technical design, computer aided design, and 3D softwares. I am familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and Browzwear and I am excited to learn more about utilizing technology throughout my design process. For my next step, I would love to gain experience in a professional industry setting and learn more about apparel design by collaborating with people in the field.
