As an aspiring Data Scientist with a BSc in Automatics and Robotics, I gained valuable experience in Machine Learning and Data Analysis techniques through my thesis work and a Data Science internship. I am eager to dive into vast amounts of data to discover insightful patterns and apply my skills to solve real-life problems.During my studies, I conducted in-depth research for my thesis titled "Emotion Recognition Based on EEG Signals", which sparked my interest in the intersection of Data Science and Neuroscience. This project deepened my understanding of various Machine Learning techniques and allowed me to gain practical insights into analysing and interpreting brainwave data.Additionally, I took part in the Erasmus+ programme and spent a semester in the Netherlands, where I enhanced my academic knowledge through project-based learning, collaborating with students from diverse backgrounds, and developed invaluable life skills. Navigating through a new environment, both academically and personally, and forming lasting friendships expanded my horizons and cultivated a strong sense of adaptability in various aspects of life.Furthermore, I contribute to a student paper called BIS, expressing my creativity through graphic design. This provides a relaxing balance to my data-driven pursuits.Outside of academia, during my Data Science internship, I had the opportunity to analyse real-world data and uncover insights that had the potential to impact the efficiency of the system being analysed.Moreover, I engage in teaching as a side hustle - tutoring mathematics and English and leading discussions in English about tech-related topics. This allows me to stay up-to-date with recent technological developments while fulfilling my passion for sharing knowledge.On a more personal note, I love hiking (wherever I am, and even when it rains), experimenting in my kitchen with flavours from all around the world, and learning languages to embrace different cultures and broaden my personal and career prospects.I am excited to further enrich my experience in the data science field and explore new opportunities to apply my skills and passion for making a meaningful impact through data-driven insights.
