Scientific Initiation project with FAPESP research scholarship developed at the Laboratory of Linguistics and Computational Intelligence located at the Computer Science and Engineering Department of UFSCar. My goal is to tackle the multimodal and multilingual learning problem involving the Portuguese language through the generation of new linguistic-computational resources that can be useful for several NLP applications.

Project funded by the BEPE-FAPESP research grant. The main goal of this project was to investigate and implement different object detection techniques on VTLM (Visual Translation Language Modelling) in order to find the most suitable and computationally viable one to identify image components during training, focusing on improving the effectiveness of the multilingual and multimodal pre-training through the application of more informed masking strategies.

Participation as Legal-Financial Director of SECOMP, which is a non-profit association linked to the Computer Science and Computer Engineering courses at UFSCar that organizes an annual event consisting of mini-courses, programming challenges, workshops, lectures and other activities related to technology.Participating as a director, I led the team responsible for the financial planning, cash flow control and organization of contracts, budgets and documents related to SECOMP.

CATI Jr. is a junior enterprise linked to the Computer Science and Computer Engineering courses at Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). It is a non-profit association that promotes a culture of entrepreneurship for its members. Its main focus is the development of projects in the technology area for public and private organizations.My main responsibilities as Operations Manager were:- Development of the first online recruitment process, due to the COVID-19 pandemic;- Implementation of a Hackathon;- Realization of an event aimed at company members, with the participation of companies such as Microsoft, Serasa Experian, Nubank and B3;- Monitoring of members and their teams through meetings and analysis;- Implementation of internal initiatives promoting a feedback culture;- Control of the financial sector of the company.
