Formerly Director of Development for a nationally renowned arts organization, I'm now redeploying those skills as Outreach Manager for Living Simulations, which produces interactive 3D and 2D medical graphic software. Our flagship product is Corpusim, a "flight simulator for the human body." BodyZoomer, the 2D, mobile device-friendly version, is poised for release in the first quarter of 2025. I delight in simplifying complex ideas to bring people and products to their full potential.Another profound joy in my life is making connections of all kinds: e.g., connecting people to new ideas and experiences, connecting people to other people, finding connections between seemingly unconnected concepts.For over 30 years, I've developed and implemented individualized and group music curricula and have organized and presented music festivals and concerts for 20+ years. I was a piano specialist with Schmitt Music, Kansas City's Steinway Dealer, for six years and spent three years as Director of Development for The Friends of Chamber Music.As creative consultant, publicist, and booking agent for pianist William Westney, I helped him rise to fame as the creator of the popular Un-Master Class®. I'm a seasoned workshop leader and presenter and love sharing the things that excite me with audiences. Honors and awards include election to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies, a National Merit Scholarship, and recognition as a Steinway Top Teacher in 2016 and 2021. I've served on numerous local, state, and national boards in all positions, up to and including president.
