I am a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's from Colorado State University with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering. I enjoy working with systems engineering and working with all aspects of a project. I am always looking for engaging projects to expand my experience and knowledge in the areas I am interested in. I am a solar arrays mechanical engineering intern at Opterus Research and Development, where I work on component level CAD and prototyping, as well as verification and validation testing and procedure writing. I served as the Payload Lead for the CSU NASA University Student Launch Initiative Senior Design competition team, where I lead my team and oversee budget, schedule, top level systems design, payload integration, and CAD for various components. I have systems engineering experience from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center where I worked on validation testing analysis and procedure writing for mechanisms and instruments on the OSAM-1 mission. My ultimate goal is to work in systems engineering in the aerospace industry, ranging from requirements and CONOPS derivation, to verification and validation testing, and flight ops for interplanetary missions.
