I am currently studying Environmental Policy and Planning B.A., Anthropology B.A., Minor Urban Studies, and Minor French at the University of Iowa. I spent a month gaining field work experience in Archaeology at Scott Lake State Park, Scott City in Western Kansas where we studied an Apache Tribe and their cross-culture blend with a nearby Puebloan Tribe. During my time in Scott City, I used Total Stations, Electron Distance Measurers, GPS devices, conducted shovel tests, and learned how to properly excavate a site and complete advanced archaeological paper work. I have experience in GIS on ArcGIS Pro, analyzing proximal exposure, spatial autocorrelation, database management, environmental justice, and interpolation. I have further expertise in analyzing complex statistical data, using geostatistical wizard, vector and raster data, and performing multi criteria analysis. Further, I have conversational and written proficiency in the french language. I am an officer for UI’s Anthropology Club, through the Anthropology department, where I manage the social media accounts through graphic design usage, lead meetings with strong communication, and use strong written skills to draft and send emails.
