After many years as a stay at home mom and a Spanish Interpreter and Translator in the FM area, as well as writer for the Fargo Mom website, I started working as a VISTA member for Americorps, assigned to Cultural Diversity Resources (CDR) as their Communications Manager in January 2021. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with different nonprofits and organizations, connecting them with each other and helping them in the creation of their websites and social media presence. My background is in Design. I love everything to do with art, talking, meeting new people, and helping educate people in the importance of diversity and inclusion, so this job is highly rewarding for me. I am also the Vice-president of CASA, a new nonprofit organization for Latin@s and by Latin@s of the FM area. This new venture is dedicated to uniting people from all across Latin America, so we can all help each other thrive in this community. I believe that all people and cultures in the world are unique and beautiful, and we all bring something of value to our community- and that's why it's important that we all work together so we can grow as a diverse and vibrant society, where everyone is seen, heard and included, no matter the color of their skin, their sexual orientation/identity, their culture or language, their religion, or their socio-economic status.
